Stress & Rescue
SSI Stress & Rescue Course pre-requisites requirement
- SSI or other agencies certified open water diver
- Medically and physically fit
- Swimming proficiency test: Able to swim 200m and tread water for 10 minutes or more
- 5 or more logged dives
Course Duration
- Academic (approximately 4 hours)
- Pool practical (approximately 6 hours)
- Weekend trip approximately 3 Days 2 Night
SSI Stress & Rescue certification requirement
- 5 or more logged dives
- Perform all required rescue skills underwater & surface
- Certified CPR and First Aid from recognize training agencies
Completion of SSI Stress & Rescue course student would be able to
- Detect stress from fellow divers and react accordingly
- Rescue panic/stress divers safely
- Able to achieve rescue skills on surface and underwater
- Increase awareness of diving conditions
- An entry requirement to SSI Dive professional course
